Arriving and Parking
For the performance of Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors on Friday 16th June, the grounds will be open from 5.00 p.m. onwards and you are welcome to picnic in the gardens before the performance, which begins at 7.30 p.m.
On arrival, our stewards will direct you to the parking area. Please follow their instructions.
Please note: We only have a very small number of disabled parking spaces. If you require disabled parking and help accessing the performance area, please be sure to contact us in advance and display your blue badge prominently on arrival.
What should we bring?
The performance is open-air, so please bring wet-weather gear as required. The show will continue, except in the heaviest of downpours. Dress code is informal and please bear in mind that the evenings can get chilly, even at Midsummer. Please wrap up warm.
Seating for the performance is provided. Please bring your own rugs, chairs and tables for picnicking. And don’t forget the picnic! We do have a cash bar, selling wine, beer, cider, and soft drinks and snacks.
Male and female toilets are located close to the parking area.
